At Spike’s Tail Wag Walks, we never walk more than four dogs at a time during our group walks. We carefully select dogs that have same temperament and that are  compatible to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Group walks provide a fantastic opportunity for dogs to socialize, build confidence, and benefit from the social interaction during their outings.

All our walks last a minimum of one hour, excluding pick-up and drop-off. If your dog needs a longer or shorter walk, we can customize a solo walk to meet their specific needs.

We walk dogs in parks, woods, and other green spaces that are both safe and engaging for them.

Yes, we can accommodate nervous dogs with solo walks. However, one of the key benefits of group walks is improved socialization. If your dog is nervous but not aggressive, we can begin with solo walks and gradually introduce them to a suitable group of friendly dogs at their own pace. With patience and support from our experienced walkers, many dogs quickly gain confidence and settle into group walks.

It’s entirely up to you and whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

In an emergency, we will contact you immediately to discuss the situation. If we can’t reach you and urgent veterinary care is needed, we will take your dog to your designated vet or the nearest available clinic, depending on the circumstances.

Absolutely! We’re happy to provide occasional walks and offer flexible booking. Just send us a text, email, or call the day before to schedule or cancel a walk.

Yes, we highly recommend an introductory meeting with your dog walker at your home before walks begin. This allows us to discuss your dog’s needs and ensure the best experience for them.

Yes, your dog will be walked by the same person each day.

Yes, all our dog walkers are fully insured.

We offer flexible bookings, and as long as you provide at least 24 hours’ notice, there will be no cancellation fee.

Yes, we offer evening and weekend walks, though additional charges apply for out-of-hours bookings.

No, payment is made after the service is provided, typically at the end of the week.
